Request to Access Personal Information Procedure
Under the provisions of POPI, data subjects have the following rights:

To request access to information, individuals can send an email to the Information Officer. Upon receipt, the Information Officer will provide the data subject with a "Personal Information Request Form." Before releasing any personal information, the Information Officer will verify the identity of the data subject. All requests will be evaluated in accordance with the organization's PAIA Policy, and the Information Officer will process them within a reasonable timeframe.
POPI Complaints and Objections Procedure
A client has the right to object to the use of their personal information; however, in certain cases, failure to provide this information may result in the inability to provide services or products, or may result in limited services being provided.
Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint if they believe that any of their rights under POPIA have been violated. The organization takes all complaints seriously and follows a specific procedure for addressing POPI-related complaints:

1. Complaints must be submitted to the organization in writing. If necessary, the Information Officer will provide the data subject with a "POPI Complaint Form."

2. The Information Officer will acknowledge receipt of the complaint in writing.

3. The Information Officer will carefully consider the complaint and address the concerns of the complainant amicably. In doing so, the Information Officer will strive to resolve the complaint fairly and in accordance with the principles outlined in POPIA.

4. If the data subject is not satisfied with the proposed remedies provided by the Information Officer, they have the right to escalate the complaint to the Information Regulator.
